Jason has been on the board since May 2018. He was the Board Chair from November 2019-November 2021 and now serves as Board Chair Emeritus. He was a media executive with 30 years of experience in all aspects of content development, production and management. From 2008 to 2020, he was the vice president of news at KTLA-TV.

In 2020, he and his husband, Troy, relocated to Coachella Valley where they own and operate Old Ranch Inn in Palm Springs and Jolene’s Bar & Lounge in Palm Desert.

He has worked with UNICEF to generate donations and highlight the humanitarian organization’s work in Kenya, Guatemala and Vietnam. In 2019, Jason participated in the AIDS/LifeCycle, a bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to benefit the Los Angeles LGBT Center and San Francisco AIDS Foundation.

Jason and Troy have been together since 1996 and were married in 2008. In 2020, they rescued a German Shepherd named Klaus.
