Erica Hill-Rodriguez is the News Director of KTLA in Los Angeles, CA where she leads one of Los Angeles’ most-watched and trusted news organizations, overseeing more than 110 hours of live news programming each week as well as large-scale productions such as the Rose Parade and red-carpet specials for the Emmys and Oscars. Through her leadership at KTLA, she proudly champions and supports Project Angel Food’s annual Lead with Love telethon, helping raise critical awareness and funds for the organization’s life-saving work.

Erica is an accomplished media executive with over two decades of experience guiding award-winning news, entertainment, and digital content operations in major U.S. markets. Before joining KTLA, Erica served as Vice President and News Director for KTTV in Los Angeles. She has also held senior leadership roles with Tribune Media in Seattle and Portland.

Beyond her professional achievements, Erica has dedicated significant time to community impact and nonprofit service. She has served on the boards of the Youth Pride Center in Chicago, supporting housing and food programs for LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness, and the Idaho Suicide Prevention Action Network, helping to expand outreach and crisis counseling services.
