Mindy joined Project Angel Food in 2020 and her magnetic leadership had been key in our organization’s life-saving mission. Before joining Project Angel Food in 2020, Mindy had successfully raised grant funds for a number of Los Angeles nonprofits in the education, workforce development, substance abuse and mental health spheres.

Previous to her work in the nonprofit arena, she was a writer on a number of sitcoms, created and taught a course on sitcom writing, and is the author of several novels. Her latest, Homicide and Vine, is currently available on Amazon. Mindy is a recipient of a Los Angeles Press Club Award for Feature Writing for a Body of Work for her consumer columns, syndicated by the Southern California News Group. Mindy graduated from Barnard College with a B.A. in Philosophy and also attended UCLA.
