First, a heartfelt thank you for the incredible outpouring of support. In the past 24 hours, more than 4,500 of you have reached out to volunteer for fire relief efforts — more than the total number of volunteers in all of 2024. Your generosity is truly inspiring.

Due to this overwhelming response, we need your help with the following:

1. Please do not show up at our kitchen without a scheduled volunteer shift

We are currently operating at full capacity and cannot accommodate walk-ins.

2. Avoid calling us directly

With only two phone lines and a limited staff, our phones are overwhelmed. Instead, please email us at volunteers@angelfood.org to schedule your shift.

We’ve tripled our volunteer services team and are working hard to respond to every email as quickly as possible.

Ongoing Volunteer Needs

We still need volunteers in the coming weeks to fill delivery routes and kitchen shifts. Your support is critical in helping us care for our seriously ill neighbors, who are at even greater risk due to the fires.
