Audrey Schlaepfer has an extensive background in merchandising and product development. She is a creative problem solver, skilled at directing corporate initiatives while developing strategic merchandising visions. She’s a great communicator, negotiator and organizer. From 2009 to 2016, Audrey was Group Vice President of Textiles at Macy’s. She oversaw a large team that designed new strategies for struggling businesses, evolved and updated the fashion categories, and revamped the extensive marketing effort, helping grow the business to $1.1 billion. Prior to Macy’s, Audrey was Chief Merchandising Officer of Linens N Things, where she led the national large-format retailer of Home Textiles, Housewares, and Home Accessories, operating 493 stores with an annual volume of over $2.6 billion. She was directly responsible for the formulation and profitable execution of the company’s merchandising programs. Audrey also has previous experience working for Warner Bros. Studio Stores as the Executive Vice President of Merchandising, Planning, Design, and Product Development. Currently retired, she lives with her wife in West Hollywood.
