Dr. Bowers is a board certified anesthesiologist and fellowship trained in pain management and regional anesthesia. She has been in private practice for over 29 years. She is currently practicing in ambulatory surgical centers throughout the greater Los Angeles area.

Dr. Bowers is a member of the Los Angeles chapter of the Links, Inc., Los Angeles Carrousels, and lifetime member of the Association of Black Women Physicians. She has held leadership positions with the Charles R. Drew Medical Society and the National Medical Association.
