We invite you to join us for a memorable evening on Sept. 28, 2024, as we honor the extraordinary Matt Bomer with the 2024 Angel Award. Along with Emmy-winner Sheryl Lee Ralph bestowing the Sheryl Lee Ralph Legacy Award upon L.A. Care Health Plan and its CEO John Baackes.
The night will be highlighted by an unforgettable performance from Billboard chart-topping singer and actress Deborah Cox. Fresh from producing and starring in The Wiz on Broadway, this will be her first appearance following her Broadway run.
The gala will take place at Milk Studios, located at 855 N. Cahuenga Blvd. We are temporarily relocating our gala due to construction at our existing facility, which is making way for the new 30,000 square-foot, two-building The Chuck Lorre Family Foundation Campus, while Project Angel Food’s operations will move to a temporary kitchen in Lincoln Heights.
As this event sells out each year and our new venue has limited seating, we urge you to secure your table or individual tickets to our 2024 Angel Awards Gala Celebrating 35 Years of Project Angel Food soon. Join us for an epic night where glamour meets generosity! And, there is no one more generous than our presenting sponsor L.A. Care Health Plan and title sponsor Wells Fargo, whose support ensures funds raised for the evening go directly to support our vital operations.
Our mission is clear: Project Angel Food nourishes the health and spirit of vulnerable people facing critical and life-threatening illnesses by preparing and delivering medically tailored meals with love, care, and dignity. Your participation in the 2024 Angel Awards Gala Celebrating 35 Years of Project Angel Food propels us forward in achieving our goals.
We look forward to celebrating 35 years of Project Angel Food with Matt, Sheryl, John, Deborah, a host of celebrity guests, and you! Don’t miss out
