Every meal we prepare and deliver is more than food. It is care, dignity and a reminder to our clients that they are not alone. When you volunteer with Project Angel Food, you become part of a community of compassion and help nourish seriously ill neighbors across Los Angeles with love, one meal at a time.

Volunteering with Project Angel Food is a meaningful way to turn compassion into action. Whether you are preparing meals in our kitchen, delivering nourishment to a client's door, or lending your time behind the scenes, your service helps remind seriously ill neighbors across Los Angeles that they are cared for, seen, and not alone.

Every year, more than 250 organizations turn to Project Angel Food to honor their organization’s core values while giving back to the community through an extraordinary team-building exercise.
Our Customized Volunteer Experience (CVE) allows your team to work alongside our chefs and staff, directly impacting the lives of thousands of seriously ill Angelenos as you help prepare our medically tailored meals. Volunteer groups more than 15 are asked to consider a sponsorship fee (negotiated per event) based on a pre-developed program, as we continue to nourish our clients completely free of charge.
Corporate Volunteer packages start at $3,000 and help offset the staffing, materials, operational costs required to create a meaningful group volunteer experience. Packages can be customized based on group size, engagement goals, and partnership level. Reduced or waived fees may be available for qualifying schools, faith-based organizations, and community groups.
