HOLLYWOOD, CA — On Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022, Project Angel Food was the beneficiary of a book launch by artist and philanthropist Alexandra Grant. Her new book, “LOVE: A Visual History of the grantLOVE Project,” is Grant’s exploration of the question “What is love?” and is documented through a retrospective of her journey engaging in civic art.

The intimate book launch and cocktail reception was hosted at a private Hollywood Hills residence by former Project Angel Food board member John McIlwee, who kicked off the event by welcoming the dozens of guests in attendance. Project Angel Food CEO Richard Ayoub detailed the incredible work of the organization and what it takes to feed 2,500 critically ill clients each day, including the significance and honor of being the beneficiary of Grant’s book launch. Grant described her new book and the work that went into it, while thanking all those who made it possible.

In attendance were also TV personality, best-selling author and real estate agent Kendra Wilkinson, TikTok star Chris Olsen, actor Curran Walters and others.
