On Sunday, May 1, 2022, Megan Hilty wowed Project Angel Food’s Circle of Angels Garden Party at the stunning home of Mike Rose and Ruben Rodriguez. Megan’s a Grammy and Tony nominee but most importantly, she’s a Project Angel Food volunteer who delivers meals with her 7-year-old daughter Viola, she told the almost 200 Project Angel Food supporters who gathered for the swanky afternoon event.

“The only thing bigger than Megan’s talent is her heart,” Project Angel Food CEO Richard Ayoub said.
Richard also discussed the four pillars of Project Angel Food: providing life-saving Medically Tailored Meals to the critically ill in need, a food is medicine approach to menu creation and nutritional counseling that improves health outcomes and reduces hospitalizations, leading breakthrough research initiatives, and volunteers, who are the heart of our organization and who make our city into a community with their service at Project Angel Food.
Megan sang three songs at sunset from a garden staircase that served as her stage. She sang “Let Me Be Your Star” and “That’s Life” from her hit NBC series Smash and closed with “For Good” from Wicked, dedicating it to the tireless work of Project Angel Food as we deliver Medically Tailored Meals to 2,400 critically ill men, women and children each day.
The Circle of Angels is a group of ardent Project Angel Food donors who each donate $1,500 or more annually to our vital work. In addition to enjoying a private concert, those in attendance had fabulous food from Crumble Catering and dessert from the Project Angel Food kitchen. Guests also helped raise enough money to purchase a much-needed refrigerated van and fill it with gas for a year.
