Another incredible Client Advisory Board meeting of listening and serving our clients took place on Thursday. A half-dozen clients descended on Project Angel Food and were treated to a kitchen tour by CEO Richard Ayoub, a dinner prepared by Chef Angel Cope, and offered their feedback on our Medically Tailored Meals.

The event and presentation were led by Client Services Manager Scott Stephens with Registered Dietitian Max Schroder leading a thorough discussion about our meal labels and the challenges our clients face and how Project Angel Food can continue to grow and help them.

The Client Advisory Board meeting was the third in the last 12 months with the feedback provided by clients invaluable. The clients in attendance described our Medically Tailored Meals as a "godsend" and "comforting" knowing they have food at home.

“When you have diabetes, you have to be very careful with a special diet,” a client explained. “Knowing these meals are in the freezer, especially now with the increased cost of living, and being a senior on a limited budget and with all the other challenges we face, it just means so much.”
